created by podL for the AudioR tour through Deventer, the Netherlands.
I was kindly invited by curator Jeroen Diepenmaat to compose an FM transmitted soundpiece for a specific place in the historical city centre.

This building looked very mysterious to me, so I approached it as an ink factory where lugubrious things might happen. Deventer is historically known for its books & printing, so I imagined this to be a factory in which ink is made from the black pigments in moleskins and raven feathers.

The audio tour will be transmitted in Deventer all summer, and starts at the VVV (tourist info) building at the Brink 56, or check www.kunstenlab.nl for more info
